Comfortable writing in English for German speakers: type a German word, press ALT+BACKSPACE, and a dialog box showing alternative English translations will pop up. Select using cursor keys, push enter - that's it! More functions: clipboard capture (into its edit box), 10 frequent clippings list, simple fill-the-blanks vocabulary trainer.
