Ludian (a.k.a. Lyudikovian) is spoken in the Tver region (Southeastern Karelian Republic, north of Petrozadovsk city, Russia) by some 5,000 people. It is a language of the Finnic family, transitional between Olonetsian and Veps. There is no literature in Ludian. Speakers use Russian as a written language. Ludian is an agglutinative language. |
